- Take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance before you travel

- Save money by not queuing to buy a visa at the airport on arrival in Egypt. As you are limited to staying within the tourist resorts of either Hurghada or Sharm el Sheikh you will not need a visa provided your stay is for up to 15 days. On arrival at the airport they will try and suggest you need a visa, this is untrue. All you need is a completed landing card that you will be given before landing into Sharm el Sheikh

- Ensure you use a high factor sun cream. The sun is particularly strong in the morning in Egypt and at midday.

- Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration or sunstroke. We also recommend avoiding drinking too much alcohol especially during the day as this increases the risk of dehydration.

- We recommend mosquito repellent sprays are used from dusk as there are plenty of Mosquitos about.
